Nearly but not Quite the Same

February 1, 2016

While doing a search on a family connected to these matters Nemesisone has found anomalies such as two barristers marrying in 1992 and stating status as single, well there appears to be a marriage certificate already in existence twenty one years earlier for one of the parties to the marriage however in Hammersmith England rather than Ireland There is no record of a divorce showing up on the search for that Hammersmith marriage Although if a search was done on another of their cousins who was known to have divorced subsequently there is a divorce record against that particular marriage Now in regard the bride of the 1971 marriage she appears to go on to marry twice subsequently, whether a divorce was obtained on the second marriage has not been searched At that 1992 marriage neither parent attended of one of the persons marrying and when one person came into the Church late, the Best Man said “she is here now I told you she would come, that person was the nearest in age in the family they were reared in, to the recipient of the remark. The Christian names of the two brides 1971 and 1992 are nearly the same but not quite The initials are the same and the names when shortened are also the same, such as Roxie for Roxette or Roxanna, and Marge for Marjorie or Margaret.

Now the brides own parent’s marriage has discrepancies as the father’s name is matched in a marriage to another woman with the same Christian name but a different surname, both woman came from the same county however the other woman married in Staines 8 years earlier, she was born in 1914 and not 1916 as per her death registration in 2010 and her husband’s surname was nearly the same but not quite it was shorter two letters missing such as Cox and Coxen, Fox and Foxby and the Christian name totally different it was Robert And Briody was given as the maiden name for the person who died in 2010 and her daughter Ann was person named on the death registration. There is a birth 1915 marriage 1837 and death registration 1984 for that person and again no divorce record against the marriage The person shows up in a 1939 register search at the same area with what would appear to be their mother and wife at the same address There was one child born 1940 to that marriage with the same maiden name Briody for the mother a son Robert who went on to marry in 1969 with two sons born in the 1970 and 1971 and all the family on an Electoral Roll for 2002. The person has the same Christian name as their father Robert, there appear to be two daughters after that one born in 1942 called Margaret and the other born 1944 called Ann

For the 1945 marriage the man who married her had the initials JV and the bride’s maiden name was Caldwell there appears to be one child born to that marriage in 1946 and then in 1949 there is a birth registration and death registration for a child called Ann and a death registration for a woman called Margaret whose age tallies with the 1945 marriage The groom of that marriage shows up in Thom’s directory under the initials VP as a neighbour of John Loder in Dundrum from 1949-1954 John Loder on all official documents including death registration and burial record is under the name Ernest Loder John Loder’s neighbour on the other side was Kevin White also in Thom’s for the time period and longer than the neighbour on the other side The house on the that VP occupied was not built-in the 1948 Thom’s directory and was vacant in the 1955 Thom’s directory . It was always admitted that this person had lived for a time as a next door neighbour of John Loder and initially had to go through his driveway to get to their house. The driveway with the houses Kevin White and John Loder lived in was communal, after that time period in the 1970’s house number 3 appeared in Thom’s directory under a house name with other houses in a development, on the other side of John Loder’s house

In Thom’s directory the person with the initials VP is down as a vintner in a pub in the next village under his second name, he was there for two years and then for a 15 year period in a house on a road perpendicular to the business he was initially managing, and then into a house off that same road under the name and initials he was well known as between 1980 and 1985 the house then went into the name of the son born 1966 It stayed in his name until 1988, when it went into the name of the woman whose death was in 2010 The well-known business man in the Auburge industry born in 1923 died in 1988. This man who was a Catholic did go on to get Papal title, which based on what Wikipedia says is given for generous donations to the Papal Sea or for good works.

It was always said about VP that there were three daughters and then the other two as they were referred to, born over twenty years later one boy one girl. Neither born in Ireland based on searches done in 2004 and 2016 The 2016 search shows births in England for persons matching those Christian and surnames However in recent times the sibling gender is now two boys and three girls Nemesisone met two people with the space on an hour and half 9th January 2016 one who had worked with one of the older daughters born in the 1940’s the other had gone to school with another of the daughters born in the 1940’s Both said the same thing “I thought there were three girls there and then the other two born much later” The second person also said “they are a very close-knit tight family”

Now it was also said about this man in biopics about him that in the 1960’s he was in construction, well the construction company he was said to have owned on the road, it was said it was located was according to Thom’s in the same time period belonging to a person called James Cherry. That road was the same one the Senior Counsel referred to in Paragraph 5 of the January 2016 posting lived on at the same time of the search done. And it is now said about the person referred to in newspaper articles as the older son, read for 2007-2010 is resident in Ireland and is in construction. It did not give the name of the construction company.
