Legends are not made staying in.

February 1, 2014

The above title comes from advertisement for a Captain Morgan a rum that is distributed through Diageo, The Captain Morgan the Petitioner is referring to lives in what is termed a Heritage House in Ireland and Captain Morgan took over the upkeep of the house from his father approx five years ago. The name of the house contains the same words in it as the Christian name of the current London Lord Mayor, a former Russian President in the 1990’s and a German Tennis player of the 1980’s

In April 2013 The Petitioner was told by a Garda Reservist about Elgiva White daughter of Barry and Rosemary White that “in her twentieth year she will have to live with the concept of what she has done for the rest of her life” That comment has all the hallmarks of a defence plea, so who said it, what did it pertain to and how did it come about?

The Petitioner heard in November 2013 that starting in the summer months 2013, regular visitors to Captains Morgan’s House every three to four weeks were persons driving a gun metal grey mini cooper same as Elgiva Katherine White drives registered to Ina Igoe, her sister Algitha Isabella Maud White also drives a mini cooper white with black stripes on the bonnet The two persons in the gun metal grey Mini Cooper were described young female adults and a navy blue Saab, both cars Dublin registrations. Also in that time there were regular visitors to the house of a family called Miller from Courttown in Wexford. The information came from someone who has a relation living in the nearby locality.Elgiva White now using Christian name Selina and UCD class of 2014 UCD and barrister since 2017 and Siobhan Rigopatten actual name Sharon Rossiter and UCD class of 2015 and barrister since 2016

Now every three to four weeks over the summer months on a Sunday evening the Petitioner would see a cobalt colour four by four with a Wexford Registration parked outside a range of three houses connected to the Millers, in what is called a Heritage town in County Dublin. Now the car has a very distinctive sticker on its bumper. The person who would be standing beside the car, as The Petitioner walked past given his age category, he could have participated in the axiom on the bumper sticker. He appears to be a Local County Councillor from the Wexford area.

This particular Captain Morgan was in the Irish Guards in the early 1990’s at the same time period as a cousin of the White family, who was brought up in a neighbouring county to Captain Morgan. Now this Captain Patrick has an investment company whose business name is the same as a famous Irish Racehorse a steeplechaser in the 1960’s

Now in the last couple of years this particular Heritage House was profiled on a Channel 4 antique programme about generating funds to maintain this kind of house. It was suggested that Captain Morgan sell some of his antiques to assist the maintenance costs. However he chose to sell some the family’s antique guns which did not generate the same amount of income. Captain Morgan also runs wedding packages from the house and they according to the programme depending on the number of weddings will generate €60,000-80,000 annually.
